No, also the AI could have been better.
Sometimes they can teleport on my computer, which allways comes as an annoyance when it's a 'kill you in three hits' lobster-man-thing.

Unlike Stalker though it gives you the bad luck to be able to run into some of the nastier mobs in the game in the first region, So fear is more generated from when you've ran out of bullets, health injections and your surviving on irradiated foodstuffs while trying to sneak past some supermutants (Yellow skinned supersoldiers with Missile launchers and miniguns) and Lobster-men. Throw in packs of wild dogs, mole-pigs and of course the classic bandit pack (Who can be armed with almost anything from Flamethrowers to poolcues) and it gets quite tense.

Aslong as there's no "shock elements" I dont care.

Stalker always renders me too paranoid to actually play the game.

Hrm, theres not to much shock but rather oppressive tension.
After crawling through 3 sewer systems full of raiders, ghouls and other nice locals and a super-mutant filled museum with a piece of metal dodged in my head, vision contantly blurring and my hearing breaking up into a faint but sharp whistle because I didn't have the medical supplies to heal it and with only irradiated food and water to use it got a bit harsh...
Like you kind of want to go wash your face and whine at your sink 'I can't Seeeee~' harsh, despite it being a game and all, however I resisted the temptation.

However I must note; I felt like a badass battle machine after I finished my mission. XD

Recipe for one Flaming Katana (Shish-ka-bob) in Fallout 3:

    Motorbike gas Tank,
    Pilot Light,
    Lawnmower Blade
    Motorbike Hand-Break

Gotta love having the repair skill, it lets you make custom items.
    Other items i've made so far;
"Rock-It Launcher" aka. 'Random Object Cannon' which lets you grab shit off the ground and fire it.
(Things such as Cinder Blocks, Books, 9-Balls, Teddy-bears etc)
"Bottlecap Mine", Suprisingly deadly, it's like putting a bomb in little Johnny's lunch box and sending him to school with it, Except that little Johnny is a Supermutant Brute and school is the nearest bathtub big enough to catch the splatter of limbs. Yes there is a lunchbox as one of the components.

Yeah good thing I quick saved just before...
I had to go back and check a few times.

You got to the end? I can never do any main story in games like this I get side-tracked because either (a) I wander off and do evil things like killing everyone or (b) go out and find all the extra stuff that I can and make the rest of the game a joke.

Yeah, though i'm sure theres some patch or such which stops the game from just ending when you finish the main quest, probably in with the DLC stuff.

Basically Fallout 3 is a game about shooting men and punching bears, then dieing of radiation burns.

Unless you have Broken Steel, in which case you can send Fawkes, The robot, or Charon into the radiation room. Plus if you or Lyons goes into the chamber you automagically survive anyways to reunite with Liberty Prime for another round of plot missions!

Now all we need is some kind of ad-hoc multiplayer and I could show you that punching deathclaws is the best way to kill them.

    Punching them in the FACE.

    HARD.

I thought they nerfed the deathclaw gauntlet ignoring defense.

Has anyone played New Vegas? I bought the limited edition and had some fun with it until my Xbox 360 decided to be cheeky and make example of my disk, so I never ever move it while playing again.
