    Sonata Artica

Bloody awesome band if you like metalish and deep, manly voices. However, the lead singer does sing in quite high pitches and the one song where he forgot to turn off the microphone, you hear his real voice.

Let me just say I pissed myself laughing.

I like a few of their songs, well I think I do, I threw my dragonforce and Sontana arctica tracks in the same folder and I can't tell the diffrence unless I look at the file details.

Eh, hells it's been ages since i've listened to these guys...
I like 'Don't say a word', good pace and for non-touhou music it has a active theme to it,
Not enough to make me want to grab a plank, hammer some nails into it and gore someone though.

Ecliptica is one of my favourite albums. Songs like Unopened and Kingdom for a Heart. Then you've got the "acoustic" stuff. Mary Lou was probably my favourite out of that set. Tony Kakko is probably one of the better vocalists around these days.

As a fan of both Dragonforce and Sonata Arctica I don't really understand how you can get the 2 mixed up but I guess the high vocals, fast driving rhythm do make them similar.

My favourite lately has been "The world's forgotten, the world's forbidden"

Gave the song a listen and it didn't really do anything for me. That's actually the 1st Sonata Arctica song I've listened to and not thought much of it.

I like how their lyrics tell stories and go places. Like "The Boy Who Wanted to be a Real Puppet". Also loving Shamandallie at the moment.

Can't believe this passed me by but Sonata have a new album out "The Days of Grays". Here's a link to the 1st single from it. I don't know what to make of it yet, only given it a couple of listens so far.

A guy called MetaListDragoon has all the tracks from the album up on youtube but I don't have time to listen to them all at the moment.
