For some reason, that sounds horribly depressing.

Sounds like the old N64 'jet-force gemini' co-op,
it's allright but only if you've nothing better to do.

I was my bro's assist for allot of the boss fights etc on that game.

Making my way through Professor Layton and the Curious Village at the moment. It's good and looks nice, the voice acting is well done (despite how fucking annoying Luke is...loveable little scamp bastard...) but I can't help thinking it's just one of these casual games wrapped all nice.

Wait a sec...that's the point I suppose. At least they've made an effort and put a plot around it and make you feel like you're actually doing these things for a reason. Good on them. Very Happy

    'casual games',
games are meant to be casual right?...

<.< Or has WoW etc finally brainwashed people into thinking gaming means you've a second job you pay money to preform?

Not sure if you're being sarcastic Dio but in case you were unaware, thanks to Nintendo bending over and letting women and old people destroy their huge (yet still tight) corporate anus with a rusty strap-on, a new breed of game has been invented. Games such as Brain Training, Nintendogs, Taking Care of the Baby so it Doesn't Grab a Huge Gun and Start Playing Quake Again to name but a few. These are labelled as "casual games" as they don't have a plot per se and are very easy going.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to go see a large games company about an idea for a game...involving babies. And guns. And no Quake. Well maybe Quake.

Sounds annoying, though I'ld more call that kind of game a 'Gimmick game'.
We've allways had that sort of shit, who remembers the good old 'Catz' and 'Dogz' games?

Only good thing about them was that on 'Catz' you could give your digital pest catnip and turn it into a demented stoner untill you got bored of the thing and deleted it.
