Ok, actually it seems to be a pain in the ass to find the game files because they're hosted on external sites that seem to require you to go through one or two screens ebfore you find the file, so i'm going to see if I can get what I've found working then upload them to mediafire or megaupload or something.

I'm thinking I might play cleric or somesuch,
should make adventuring easier once we've a mob together.

Considering I'm not a huge fan of this kind of game, I had a wee go of it and found it to be a decent laugh. Maybe it's because me and Dio were in the same room that made it better but ach well.

It was the patcher you had problems with right? I can upload a patched version thing is they often release new patches it seems so it's only a matter of time untill you version is obsolete.
Basically we'ld have to plan raids in advance... Wait isn't that what a forum is good for?

Well, after last night i'ld say we make a pretty decent team as long as we get the healing right.
Good job on killing1 surviving the metal slime I have to say, that thing is a royal pain in the ass to deal with.

    So right now we've;
    Dio [Cleric 8] [Soldier 3]
    McMicken [Enchanter 4]
    KingK [Knight 2]
    amrite?

If all goes to plan we'll soon unlock what I like to call 'The Arena',
basically you fight one Goblin2, two Goblins, Three Goblins, A Blue Goblin and then a Boss Goblin.

Heres a list of the bosses we have to deal with early on as to my knowledge in the Rank 1 missions.
Boss Goblin (Easy, has two attacks, essentially the practice boss of the game)
Red Snake (Harder than you'ld guess, it's attacks are quite fast so it'll catch you if your having to dodge mooks too)
Big Skeleton (This guys a wanky fuck, spams a large area dark attack)
Metal Slime (A truckfuck3 of HP, lots of moves, hard to keep midair for combo's)
Wolverine-Wolf-Bear-Tank (Huge, unflintching, plenty wide area moves, it's like a dragon minus the wings and with fur)
Yes I have killed the WWBT, but not alone, and I stood back spamming spells. It's hard to dodge shockwave attacks when your on a japanese server and all.

I'm thinking of asking some of the Xennik forum guys onto the game,
also KingK, remind me to teach you how to use the book.

    1. I'm not modest enough to say I didn't do most of the work at killing it, because I did.
    2. As i've been told Goblins are those brownish humanoid mooks.
    3. If a fuckton is more than a truckload, then a fucktruck is bigger than a fuckton. Amrite?

    Stage list.
    As percieved by Dio.

    :Standard Dungeons: Your basic stuff
Stage 1. Rank 1. Grassy area, tends to end with the boss Goblin, Red snake or Metal slime on rare occasion.
Stage 2. Rank 1. Similar grassy area, tends to end with the Red Snake or Big Skeleton. 1
Stage 3. Rank 1. First castle of the game, tends to end with the Big Skeleton or the Metal slime.
Stage 4. Rank 2. To be detailed.
Stage 5. Rank 2. To be detailed.
Stage 6. Rank 2. Some kind of ruins, known boss is a Flying Magic Book.

:Exemplar Dungeons: Like before, but harder.
Rank 1: Level 5 dungeon in the Stage 3 map. Ends with a WWBT2 fight.

    :Arenas: Grindable 1-room mini-dungeons.
    #1: Goblin Arena

:Boss Mosspits: For gangs of badasses only
#1 Four Boss Goblins, Two Red snakes. All at once. 3

    Comments;
    1. The 2nd standard dungeon seems to have a plague of blue slimes on harder difficulties, meaning lots of XP if your good fighters but killing things with that much HP can slow hole 4 man groups down.
    2. WWBT; Namely the Wolverine-Wolf-Bear-Tank, this boss is probably the first thing you'll meet that had the 'btl03.ogg' song playing, the best song in the game i'ld say. This guy is so mean he doesn't need a retinue of mooks to kick your ass I remind you though.
    3. It's also impossible to draw them one by one, since it forces you to step into a certain spot before anything spawns.

*Chuckles* Thats right enough, I'ld have been fecked if the mooks were jibbing me.
I did manage to deal with the few slimes that came after me though.

Generally the best time to strike at a boss is after they've done two attacks while in their invulrability frames, they should become vunrable as you swing at them. Though I find the Red Snake is a exception to this rule, as is anything which is unflintching.

    Class Chart

Soldier get it's own tree, apparently it can't multiclass.
    So as far as I can tell;

    Soldier > Brave > Lord > ????

    -----
    ...............................>..Wizard
    ..................Sorceror.....or
    Enchanter.>.......or.....>..Elementalist.......>>>>.????
    .....................Ranger.....or
    ...............................>..Assassin

    -----

    ...............................> ..Berserker
    ...............Gladiator
    Knight...>..................>..General ......>>>> ????
    ...............Crusader
    ...............................>..Saint

Edit; Seems some classes are expansion pack only, and you have to pay for expansions. :/
I'll score out the ones unavailable.
