Re: Touhou Labyrinth
After stumbling on a Let's Play of this game about a month ago I decided I must have it. However I've seem to run into a problem.... the stairs to the 21st floor are not popping up. The wiki suggests that I use a memory editor to fix the problem, but after dozens of hour of playtime and FINALLY getting 4 stars (it took two damn weeks of constant killing for the Armads to drop) I am scared to use it, seeing that there is a high chance of me corrupting my data.

Re: Touhou Labyrinth
So, I'm now on 15F and eye'm nearly happy with my team formation. :3
Anyway, I've got a problem to turn the ingame BGM off. In the Custom.exe inside the DXLibGameSettingDialog folder there is an option titled BGM, which I think that should be the option to turn the BGM off. I took off the tick, so the BGM has a value of 0%. But when I press OK and start the game, the BGM still plays.
I'm not quite sure if it is the right Custom.exe since there is 2 of them. I'll put links of screenshots of both Custom.exe, in the main folder and in the DXLibGameSettingDialog folder.

Re: Touhou Labyrinth
Strange the option to turn off the BGM doesn't for me as well on both custom.exe. It might be a different file that allows for the BGM to be turned off since instead of having custom.exe mine is called Config. =/
I finally got back to playing again on my NG+ file and now I am a bit stuck on 9th Floor since I am about 10 levels underleveled, although that didn't stop me from beating Suwako. ¬_¬ Ah well guess I need to slow down a bit and actually explore the whole floor that I am on.

I need help please
I don't know if this has already been answered and fixed but I have the Special Disc and a Vista, when I put it in there was no installer. I then ran the executable from the folder and it said "Debug Assertion Failed", what's wrong with it : the disc, the programming, my computer, or is it an expansion disc and I'm an idiot that needs the other two discs?

I didn't download it, I bought it; also I'm not, I tried a normal install, and even the installer didn't show.

So find a clean link right? Joy, I'll have to go through so much virus, and I'm fairly positive you couldn't PM a good link, could you?

lol Dude, just surf this forum. 90% of the links here are safe and everyone used em. and if your really that scared, buy a GOOD anti-virus and then go on a downloading spree.

Tell me would Kaspersky be a good anti-virus, and while I'm at it should I go download Malware Anti-Bytes?

Re: Touhou Labyrinth
Microsoft Windows Security Essentials and Spybot are my suggestions,
though seriously the downloads are safe unless marked as suspicious.

Re: Touhou Labyrinth
if you know to use antiviruses well i reccomend Comodo Internet Security but only if you know what are you doing it has Sandbox,Defense+,Firewall even if i go to a infected site what automaticly infects machines comodo's Defense+ kicks in it asks you if you let the file name lets say TrojanCondom wants to do a modification in you're system ALLOW or Block ? and even it has Auto BlackList and Whitelist its a pretty handy package or if you're just an normal use go with Microsoft Security Essentials,Avast,Kaspersky,MalwareBytes(paid Version) these are the popular ones

Re: Touhou Labyrinth
this has not been replyed to yet:
and i made an account and icon just for this and maybe i keep the topic alive this way aswell, anyway:i have runned into the same problem and i tryed the so called ''easy to use'' memory editor that indeed the touhou wiki suggestes you to use.
but for me using that thing is solving a maze blind folded.
The game uses a very simply xyz coordinates system. Go to floor 20, don't move and use the memory editor to move yourself to floor 21.
well i tryed the memory editor but i just dont know in which file to look of the whole game to move the chibi-Reimu up to floor 21.
and yes i have also tryed the second method which didnt work.
so any tips or advice?
Thanks.
Regards,Wuraisan.

Re: Touhou Labyrinth
Apologies on the lack of response to your question, Wurai, although it's probably because none of us here have an answer XD
I, myself, end up restarting the game every few floors in anyway cause I like messing with using only 12 characters the whole game.
Honestly, you're probably better off asking the people in the thread at Shrine Maiden.

Re: Touhou Labyrinth
Oh thats okay,i was thinking of maybe trying the pain in the butt method...what is it you may ask?
well lets just say im gonna restart the whole game and play the 2.04 version in japanese untill i reach floor 21/22 etc touch the relay point and then move that save file to the special disc english patched content, which im pretty sure that can work.
(NOTE FOR FUTURE READERS:i have NOT tryed this yet so im not 100% sure.)

Also I got a guy private messaging me about art packs, but I never used the things.
Anyone got their copies floating around on their hard drives by any chance?
