Just listened to the full Silent Hill 2 soundtrack as reference for a project I'm doing outwith college...here's the last track just because I like it. Not what I'm looking for but a good track anyway

Listening to the Alchemy album, a live one by Dire Straits. Shows how great they are compared to the standards of popular music these days.

Listening to an album by Authority Zero. I know them from my skate-punk days (I have a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater nostalgia playlist on Spotify :P). Some pretty cool tunes, stand out for me is Everyday but that's because it's the 1st one I ever heard.

Bullet Theory - FFaF I was a huge fan of the Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation record back when it was released so I was really looking forward to everything that came after it but it's failed to pull me in. I guess I was in a different place when Casually Dressed came out. That was when I loved anything that came from South Wales (Bullet for my Valentine (pre-Scream, Aim, Fire), FFaF and Lostprophets).

And while I've typed that song changed to an acoustic version of Bayside's "Masterpiece". A really nice version of it, like it just as much as the original but for different reasons.

Discovered the Jamaica Reggae Allstars today. Rather impressed.

Also discovered that Reggae Reggae Christmas (Mikey Dread) is immensely disappointing.

Listening to the new Story of the Year album. So far, pretty damn good. May well pick it up, hope they come over this side of the water. Meant to be really solid live.

Let's make it 7 in a row shall we? :P

Been listening to a lot of stuff a girl at work lent me after we traded music tastes. Some really cool stuff, a mix of folk, chill-out, rockier stuff.

Now listening to some stuff from former Guns 'n' Roses/Current Velvet Revolver gutarist Slash's upcoming "solo" album (more like Slash 'n' Friends). Not too shabby, nothing amazing yet but still very respectable.

Inspired by the above Gorillaz tune to get back into them. El Manana is an absolute tune. Plastic Beach is a pretty good album. Damon Albarn is probably one of the best music minds in this era.

Just got back into them after a long break away. Tri-Polar is a decent album. I like the way it sounds.

Been listening to Sick Puppies - Tri-Polar album a fair bit. Loving most of the tracks off it.

Also got BFMV's new record "Fever" when it was released yesterday. Rather good too. The 2nd album was quite disappointing save for a couple of songs but this one has really taken the ideas of the 1st album and upped the ante so much. Production's pretty awesome, vocals sound incredible.
